Discussions Guidelines

The current guidelines are as follows:
1. Be nice and treat people with respect. Keep discussions civil and be open-minded about differing opinions.
2. Threads and posts that solicit upvotes will be deleted.
3. Off-topic conversations will be deleted.
4. Impersonation of other users or famous people will not be tolerated. If you have been banned and return on a new account, your posts will be deleted and your new account(s) will be banned.
5. Spamming, trolling, or vandalizing of any kind will be deleted and will lead to your account being banned.
6. Ask for help. Notice something that doesn't seem right? Or do you just have a question? Contact Fandom staff through "Give feedback" on your app's Settings screen, or via http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contact.

What do you guys think about the guidelines? Are some of them too harsh/lenient? Do you think there should be a category for off-topic posts?

What even is this feature??? I've never seen it before.

I guess off-topic would be just anything, or maybe just other RoosterTeeth shows if you think ''anything'' would be too broad.

This feature (discussions) is the new [[Special:Forum]]. In my mind, we should just start treating it as the Forum and then go from there.

This feature? Discussions? it's what they plan to eventually replace forums with

Also I think we could have both an off topic, which is practically an everything else (within reason, eg. no/minimal politics) and a other RT shows forum, then again, making them one wouldn't be a bad thing

Sounds good. I've added some "categories" to start off. If you have other ideas/suggestions, feel free to change the categories around.

Nice, also, now that I've actually used discussions I don't mind them and don't see what the fuss is about, yeah, coding stuff doesn't work, but hey, it's a beginning feature

I '''definitely''' hope they implement wikitext markup for Discussions. Someone brought up the issue in a Staff Blog, but they seemed to be more worried about "Mobile Users" or something ad-driven like that. Darn for-profit Wiki company.

It would be on their to-do list

Is the yellow star flower an indicator that we're admins?

Speaking of, Admin Requests/Wiki Suggestions wouldn't be a bad category.

Note: editing a comment does not take place immediately, but requires a refresh of the page, there is also no indication that the comment was edited. So far, I prefer the old way.

Hence why I say that it's alright for a beginning feature, still could be better, but could easily be worse
